El climate change is the biggest problem facing the entire planet today, and we need a big change by the big multinationals around the world to stop it if we do not want to suffer its most extreme consequences.
Luckily, there are companies that, without removing their guilt from the impact to which they subject the planet earth, carry out various actions to significantly reduce its pollution in the production of various products or services.
With this idea was born #GreenPadel a new business culture that highlights the main values of one of the brands that is growing the most in the ecological field, Adidas Padel, from production, where the first ecological padel racket, until the sale.
NEW INITIATIVE TO REDUCE CLIMATE CHANGE
Extreme capitalism has led the planet to undergo climate change that each year is accentuated for various reasons; polluting transport, excessive generation of waste by industries, unsustainable agriculture, deforestation...
And it is that no matter how efficient the manufacturing process is, emissions are produced that pollute the planet, to a greater or lesser extent. That is why Adidas Padel has got down to work with an initiative that aims to compensate in some way for the emissions it is producing with its production model.
An initiative in which it has allied with Reforestum, a company that fight against climate change, to reforest our forests and somehow reduce the damage that is occurring on the planet.
Already in 2018, they were planted in what was the Genesis reforestation, a forest located in the Picos de Europa. Here began the fight Adidas Padel against climate change!
The new project will become effective in what will be the ADIDAS PADEL FOREST, located in Calahorra de Boedo (Palencia) where a forest with dimensions equivalent to 120 paddle tennis courts will be reforested, in which the emissions of 848 tons of CO2 will be offset.
But the initiatives of Adidas Padel do not stop there!
AN ECOLOGICAL PADEL RACKET?
Another of the initiatives being implemented Adidas Padel in its business model, increasingly sustainable, is to avoid the use of polluting materials and to be in constant research to apply other materials that respect the environment.
The creation of the first ecological padel racket was one of the great innovations in the production model.
A shovel that is made of materials such as FlaxFiber, a strong and light natural linen fiber 100% recyclable and biodegradable that has nothing to envy to carbon or fiberglass, used in conventional blades, and that, in addition, will be a great advance for the reduction of polluting emissions. A great victory for the non-destruction of the planet!
In addition to this material applied to the first ecological padel racket, a new line of backpacks and paleteros has also been designed that incorporate another new material called DuopontTM Tyvek, also 100% recyclable, light, flexible and durable. A material that provides greater breathability and high resistance.
These products are all included in the line #GreenPadel, but Adidas Padel's message is clear, and this is just the beginning. The objective is consolidate this line of sustainable products and try to implement it completely and be able to carry out a production that is in tune with the improvement of the planet. The first ecological padel racket was only the beginning!
And finally, as we have mentioned before, this initiative created by Adidas can be seen reflected, not only in production, but also in sales. And it is that all his packaging They are designed with recycled paper and printed with non-polluting inks.
